We scouted another area. It's not possible to keep an eye on that area from where we are. However it did lend us the ability to see a different area of the site for a while. We've made notes.
Interestingly still no animals. Considering the number of rabbits that used to inhabit the area I am quite surprised by this.
I am not however surprised by a different sighting today. It was brief yes, but it was at least human in shape. So that really does limit it down to living or Rani right now. Both could still be dangerous to us of course.
I have been thinking whether there will be other types of Rani other than that Screamer we saw all those days ago now. I'm hoping not; I don't particularly like the idea of having other things hunt us.
The sunset was beautiful today. It made the sky pink for pretty much an hour. Almost to the strange point that it appeared like the sky was on fire. When I realised that I thought briefly about the apocalypse and the horsemen that should come; death, pestilence, war, conquest. It's easy to forget that war and conquest are different things. I mean if aliens were to unleash a powerful poison of some description, they could conquer us without the need for conflict... Yes I know that there are other meanings for the four like famine, but thinking about it, I just believe my way, like you do yours.
