So I was playing around with the machine today and I think I've gotten the hang of it. But shortly after I did there was a noise in the building. A noise that shouldn't have been there.
We moved quickly through the building, eventually exiting through the canteen. The place was a wreck. Not from Rani attacks on survivors, but just the kitchen. Food was strewn all over. We looked at each other feeling very unsettled.
We headed back to the security guardhouse and took a specific key. We rushed back to get our bags then snuck into our current residence.
Tomorrow we will assess the situation, but I am concerned as the noise wasn't Rani induced in my opinion. It sounded like someone had dropped something. I'm not sure how I could tell, but I knew it wasn't something that had been accidentally knocked over.
There was one room we left unchecked. It houses a lot of equipment and I thought best not to go in there because some of the equipment is dangerous to just be around, but I'm starting to wonder if that was where the noise originated...
